Il laboratorio di immunoistochimica ha lunga esperienza nella standardizzazione e messa a punto di metodiche per anticorpi commerciali e non, anche mediante l’utilizzo di Tissue Microarray (TMA). E’ laboratorio di riferimento per i Controlli di Qualità regionali relativi alla standardizzazione dei protocolli e della lettura dei fattori prognostici del carcinoma della mammella.
