Ambiti di ricerca affrontati: genetica ed istocompatibilità, ematologia ed immunoematologia anti-tumorale.
Attualmente si occupa di analisi mutazionali nei tumori solidi di pazienti possibili candidati a terapie target molecolari (adenocarcinomi del colon, del polmone e melanomi).
Principali competenze tecniche nei seguenti campi: biologia molecolare (DNA-RNA-proteine), biologia cellulare, citometria a flusso.
Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese, di programmi computerizzati e di particolari strumentazioni scientifiche (FACS, Sequenziatori automatici, Pyrosequenziatori, MALDI-Toff per sequenziamento acidi nucleici).
